Arthur Smith
Knight / Performer
Native of Des Moines, Iowa, Arthur joined Joustevolution from its founding. Though this has been his first experience in jousting, Arthur has been a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) for a number of years. In the SCA he learned the art of Medieval combat and equestrian gaming which aid him in this quest.
Away from medieval life, Arthur is a thirty eight year old, married father of one and his family both participate with the team. He currently works in computer Support but is seeking a role in a Christian Ministry. He is also the drummer in his church's worship band.
Aside from the martial activities, Arthur is also practiced at many other "period' talents including metal and leather work, brewing, sewing, embroidery, weaving, stone carving, pewter casting and archery. He and his family are also quite the pet people having horses, Siberian Huskies, a cat, ferrets, rats and guinea pigs.
Arthur looks forward to the chance to entertain and demonstrate that chivalry is indeed not dead!
